Born in Nice 1946 A Visual Artist for over 20 years , Patricia Seraidarian began her artistic career in the dancing world before moving towards expressing herself through painting. A ballet student of the Marseille Opera, then dancer, she taught her passion for dance for more than10 years. Her sensibility and knowledge of the body brought her naturally towards visual art and life drawing sketches. Self-taught she then mastered her skill thanks to her collaboration with Hungarian Painter Gabor Szytthi. She studied dry pastel and nature wash drawing (still life, portrait, landscape…). She then moved to Marseilles Beaux Art where she studied intensively life drawing in order to deeply increase her knowledge and study of the body. Patricia Seraidarian is by consequence sensitive to the movement and displacement of space. This displacement which can be manifested by an attitude, an Inside feeling, reserved, or in opposite an instant energy or a dazzling speed gesture without forgetting the face and its diverse expressions. Whatever its intensity, the body movement in space, guided by the soul ; is the essence of life. After a mixed media period in the majority of her work, her main body of work is slowly going through the years towards an uncluttered practise. Close to her cousins ; Claude Brice, ceramist and Fernand Leger mosaic worker ; she has more recently tackled another media, the ceramic. She has won several professional awards and has regularly exposed her work since 2008.
