I go to this lake often looking for the great white egret. This time I found him like a king on his throne (an interesting structure made of tree branches that had fallen into the lake), his subjects, the geese, below. Canvas stretched on wood. The sides are painted lavender (same color as sky)

I consider myself a figurative expressionist. I paint people, birds, dogs, cats and flowers. I seek to reveal the inner soul. I'm not interested in clichés or surface appeal.
