This series was finished in 2010 after learning a life lesson. The series is full of romanticism, sweetness, and liberty. They are stains of colors, some more defined than others. Monochromatic watercolor painting of a field of flowers. A field converted into a path, a path with transparent flowers, which are simple and light. It is subtlety, almost to a minimalist mode with everything I believe it is able to contribute.

My name is Elena Gómez Aristu, and my artistic name is Elena de hados. I was born in the beautiful island of Gran Canaria, Spain, in 1970. Early at a young age, I always felt like an artist. I am an autodidact person, although I took specific courses of art and trained as an interior designer. I am passionate towards nature, as I take walks and, sometimes, paint on the scene. I express myself and create through painting on canvas, in small/large formats and on paper, among other artistic fields such as interior design and jewelry. Some of my artistic references are painters like Monet, Degas, Gauguin, Sorolla, Joaquín Mir, Vaquero, Jackson Pollock, Pepa Poch, Tapies, Jaume Plenza y César Manrique. As interior designers, I admire Tricia Guilds, Marta de la Rica and both Mercedes Peralta and Mercedes Valdenebro, Patricia Urquiola. As architects I have two references, Frank Ghery and Zahad Hadid. I introduce my plastic works through my interiors projects. I am the artistic director of my own jewelry design firm called Hados. Hados are jewelry made out of titanium wires, gold wires, leather and natural silk laces, all made by hand. All of the works exposed here are registered in the Spanish intelectual property registration, for the protection against plagiarism and other fraudulent reproductions of the works.
