Can you hear me? I cannot Painting

"Can you hear me? I cannot" is my reinterpretation of the famous painting by Edvard Munch. Realised with visibly strong tempera strokes, this work is impetuous, irrational, at times disturbing and unbalacing. "Which is the sound of a shivering heart?" embroidered on top with cotton thread is both a question addressed to the viewer and a hunting noise (maybe silence itself) from which the subject is trying to escape (does he realise he is hunted by himself?). I felt the bidimensionality of the canvas too restrictive, therefore I stabbed the support with the needle, not only through the writing, but also embroidering and sewing the cardboard heart on the canvas with golden thread. Crowning our beloved pulsating organ with golden spines.
