Lennon Michalski's two dimensional and digital works have shown in Ashville NC, Kentucky, Colorado, and Washington DC. He also displayed work in group exhibitions internationally in Mexico, Colombia, and China. Lennon participates with a number of nonprofit art organizations in the Lexington area such as the Lexington Art League, Lex Arts, and the Living Arts and Science Center. Other projects include collaborating digitally with the Lexington Dance Collective and being Assistant Camera man on "The Happy Sad" (from the director of "Brother To Brother"). Michalski earned his Master of Fine Arts degree in Painting and Digital Media from the University of Colorado at Boulder. Since graduating his imagery conveys atmospheres full of danger, beauty, and comedy, with strange machines, surreal animals, and abstract figures. Lennon was recently named one of the top 100 Southern Artists by Oxford American. He now is an Instructor in the College of Art at University of Kentucky.
