Catharsis Painting

I do spontaneous, cathartic abstracts. they are cosmic topographical landscapes. I use a lot of paint. the texture and magic of this piece will just barely translate. I paint to uplift, inspire, challenge and invigorate my audience with a feeling....ideally a positive one, and thus the inspiration to look, often.....for the feeling I get when I paint is pure joy. the canvas communicates. I never know where I am going, I only know when I get there. This painting was created in a single shot one afternoon after I found this canvas at a thrift store. The next morning I added that pink touch to the top right. I love it. I am a self-taught painter who lives to experiment, and move the emotion through me through color and form. This painting is on a gallery profile canvas with painted sides. peace
