About The Artwork
I liked the idea of Piet Mondrian's abstract squares coming to life. Keith Haring uses a similar visual language like Mondrian: clear monochrome colours, clear shape and black lines. Both ways are very similar, yet fundamentally different. To me it seemed natural to bring both together. The straight squares become alive and start dancing - that's my idea of this piece. It gives a smile to me and I hope I can pass it on. Notice: Please be aware that the lighter and more somber parts arise due to lighting and digitalization. The colors of the acrylic painting as well can differ to a certain degree due to digitalization and screen display.
