About The Artwork

An abstract painting about the search for the quintessence of shapes and compositions in chaos in relation to the surrounding world. The subdued black and white colors seem to be a counterweight to the dynamic theme. The work was done in a mixed technique with the use of acrylic paints and a pencil. Secured with matt varnish, signed and dated on the reverse. The side edges have been painted as a continuation of the artwork, so it does not require additional framing. It is ready to hang on the wall. The painting will fit perfectly into modern, subdued interiors of a living room, bedroom, dining room, study or office.

I am graduate of the Faculty of Architecture at the Cracow University of Technology and Cracow School of Art and Fashion Design. I worked as a fashion designer and an interior architect. Research in art led me to express myself in painting. I often use my professional experience and view of the world in my artworks. Painting is a form of self-expression, my passion, a form of meditation and an energy transfer. I am looking for new solutions, often reaching for collage or assemblage and using upcycling. My favourite media are: alcohol ink, acrylics, pencils and crayons. I really like experimenting and combining different techniques. My favorite form of expression is abstraction. I am mainly inspired by nature, thoughts, dreams, structures and architecture. I reach into the recesses of the human subconscious. Through my paintings I do not want to impose anything, but only suggest and give freedom of interpretation.
