Chaos Within the Soul Painting

A couple of months back, I was going through the worst creative block of my life. I was really struggling to get new ideas and would stand for hours in front of a canvas, not knowing where to start. I was full of negative thoughts and it was then that I realized that a creative block doesn't happen when you can't let emotions in, but rather when you are unable to let them out. One day, I was sitting in my favorite chair, which I like to call my 'aesthetic chair,' when I decided that I won't go to sleep until and unless I had painted something. Anything. Flashes of yellow and blue had been moving across my eyes for a couple of days and so I picked up those two colors first. And this is what was born. All my jammed up emotions poured on to the canvas. I had never felt lighter in my life and I slept like a baby that night (seventeen hours straight). It was like I had an invisible abscess inside me that had drained. I had healed and my soul was flying again.
