Chicken Painting

A few artists have inspired this work ranging from Willem de Kooning to Asger Jorn. The painting was created to let the viewer think and feel for themselves. The title is named "Chicken" because after creating the piece my wife thought it resembled a chicken doing laundry. Though I personally do not see this, or intend for that outcome, I welcome it because it is her experience with the painting. I figured I would name it something along those lines as well. I chose to use oil and acrylic because I usually work in these mediums. Sometimes I will create solely in oil paint but other times I will mix it up and use acrylic and oil as I did for this piece.
