ABOUT THE ARTWORK
This picture is a memory of childhood. Up to five years I was afraid of planes. I always ran to my grandmother, who was hiding me behind her wide skirt. The place where I was born was occupied by Hitler's troops during the Second World War. I think that fear was genetically transmitted to me, although I was born much later. Now in many places on the Earth are military operations. I'm sure that children. who live there, will remember the war forever. They will live with it for the rest of their lives, like Roger Waters. This artwork was started in 1991, and completed only in 2017.

I am a painter and muralist. For me, art is the way to breathe and live, as well as the way to know myself and the world around me. After graduated from The St. Petersburg State Academy of Arts and Design (Department of Monumental Art) in 1990 I worked as a decorator in Mariinsky Theater, St. Petersburg. I am a member of The Russian Union of Artists from 1994. At the present time I am a member of the Board in The Department of Monumental Arts of St. Petersburg Union of Artists, an active participant of exhibitions (more than 100 exhibitions) and have made a lot of murals in private and public interiors.
