ABOUT THE ARTWORK
The Church of the Intercession and Nativity of the Blessed Virgin Mary is a monument of the 15th-16th centuries built near the fortress wall in Pskov. According to legend, in this place the wall of the fortress fell during the assault, and the Virgin Mary miraculously saved the city from capture. The uniqueness of the building is that the Church of the Nativity of the Blessed Virgin Mary was attached to the Church of the Intercession. These two buildings have one common wall and a bell tower is attached to them in front.

I was born and grew-up in Kharkiv, graduating from high school in 1986, and from the College of Architecture at Kharkiv in 1990 with a Bachelor degree. I completed my Masters at the Academy of Architecture in Kharkiv, graduating in 1999. Since then I have worked on many major architectural projects across Ukraine and central Europe.
