Contact us.I am an artist who bridges the past and present, crafting icons and sculptures that merge tradition with a contemporary vision. Working with antique wood, linen, gold, and precious stones, I reinterpret sacred imagery, infusing each piece with history, meaning, and transformation. My practice exists in the space between eras — too modern for traditional iconography, yet too rooted in tradition for contemporary art alone. This tension gives my work its unique voice, where past and present converse through material, color, and form.
Each piece is a dialogue with history and spirituality. I draw inspiration from ancient symbols, sacred texts, and cultural rituals, yet I allow my intuition and personal vision to guide their material manifestation. Through the careful layering of paint, the inlay of gems, and the use of aged materials, I aim to create works that are not only visually striking but also resonate on a deeper, emotional, and spiritual level.
I am fascinated by the idea that art can carry memory — that objects themselves can hold energy, knowledge, and presence across time. My sculptures and icons act as vessels for these forces, connecting viewers to a lineage of creativity, devotion, and ritual. Each creation is simultaneously a reflection of the past and a statement of the present, a tangible trace of continuity and transformation.
Ultimately, my work is an exploration of form, material, and spirit, a practice of alchemy where antique matter and precious stones converge with modern imagination. I strive to create works that inspire contemplation, evoke wonder, and invite a personal encounter with the sacred, inviting viewers to pause and experience the intersection of history, symbolism, and contemporary artistry.
