ABOUT THE ARTWORK
The Civic Theatre is one of the only atmospheric theatres in the Southern Hemisphere in downtown Auckland is across the road. The underpainting is in a warm orange acrylic, reinforcing the general warm yellow colour scheme with the opposing blue sky. This is a very recent painting of a crossing over Queen Street in Auckland city. Here is a link to the spot. The painting requires no framing and will be varnished and ready to hang.
