ABOUT THE ARTWORK
This abstract work on unstretched canvas was created while I was in Anamujita, a small village outside Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic. It was very hot and it seemed like the whole place was melting. I use acrylic paints because that's the medium I like, and it is portable and easy to access. Abstract work allows for different perspectives depending on the viewer, and allows me to be freer with my messages in my work.
