This acrylic on canvas painting represents a closer view of a fictional city. The different colors enable the view to consider different periods of time. I am fascinated by the growth cities. Cities that seemed too large in the past defy expectation and forge ahead growing larger and larger. As I paint I think about the residents of the city and their ever evolving expectations of their city.
