ABOUT THE ARTWORK
My work stems from a lifelong response to atmospheric atmosphere; cloud, sky, ocean and bodies of water where light shimmers and reflects from pools to the great rivers of air in the aerial atmosphere. I hope the viewer will sense awe and wonder at our beautiful world that requires our care for it, health for the planet and its human and nonhuman inhabitants. Oil is my preferred medium for its depth of colour and blending capacities.
