...that day painting I got good weather with the clouds over the forest...this constant movement of the clouds made me very expressionistic...not only did I paint with a brush, I also spatulated a lot...In the depths of my heart I am a cubist, I am brutal with form. But thank God there is also my lyrical side...There are so many meaningless images, but if you see this picture, then you must be shaken by the drama. A hanging forest on the slope, where a path pushes throught into the depth of the forest and does not fall down, the clouds that hit with all the force sideways to the trees of the forest and force to tremble. A will and a struggle of the painter if you are not blind, you must see clearly !

Germany
Born 1960 in Tychy, Poland. 1988 emigration to the Federal Republic of Germany. ...eventually his studio became too cramped for the artist; he rushed out, OFF TO THE GREEN. Role models are Van Gogh, Monet and David Hockney, who also took to the outdoors in all weathers...Chrobok has always devoted himself to different forest areas in his work. His love for the VITALSTOFF tree, greenery as well as the sky is stirring. Chrobok enters the fray the canvas in show of force that characterizes "action painting", i.e., like Pollock and Karel Appel. The brush is his foil, a pile of tubes is quickly emptied - blow follows blow... Hermann F. Schweitzer/Art Historian Bonn
