ABOUT THE ARTWORK
Living on the South Coast of the UK, I am constantly inspired by the beaches, harbours and boats. I am very often drawn to work with an intense colour palette, and when I was painting this I was imaging the incredible skies we often see particularly during the Autumn/Fall. Acrylic paints suit my dynamic, instinctive painting style: I love that it dries quickly and you have to be bold & confident when working with large pieces. This acrylic painting is on a stretched deep canvas frame. 24" x 30" x 1.75" There is no need to frame it and a hanging hook has been affixed ready for immediate hanging. This was one of the paintings I created during a deeply prolific time August - November 2015.
