Connection II Painting

Sides painted black, ships rolled up. Painted on genie canvas, which means you can stretch it yourself in less than five minutes. Ships with wooden frame and hardware for hanging. Connecting to my environment was a big change in my life, it somehow gave me the peace I needed to go through huge personal challenges. So I created these paintings with the purpose of reminding myself of that peace. An Image that would help me remember that feeling is always there... that I can choose to hold it and care for it at any -or every- moment in my life. Connection I & II are about this relationship between nature and our wellbeing, they represent the power of Earth's vibration and of grounding: of taking that time to meditate and breathe consciously as we understand everything is how it should and we can always mend our broken spirits. My landscapes have varying levels of abstraction as I interpret and connect to different feelings that I have personally experienced in the outdoors.
