About The Artwork
Being raised an equestrian, horses have been a natural subject matter for me. I love the artful way they are put together and move. One of nature's perfect machines. Since I've have moved to South Florida and been exposed to the polo world and some of the people who photograph it, I've gained an appreciation for the artful form and athleticism of the riders as well. I was striving to capture the feeling of motion in a single view in this painting as well as the intensity on all participants faces-including the horses.
