From the collection "Animal Kingdom", this piece conveys a zebra in contrasting colors. On an oval canvas, painted with a dense, dull black background, the viewer is able to just focus on the intensity of the colors that describe the zebra. The zebra known as a rather gently mannered creature, it hides within in it the human flare of survival which is demonstrated in the vibrant warms colors used. So, the peaceful exterior of the zebra comes into contrast with its flaring inner self, which is reminiscent of human behavior.
