I was born in Cape Town, South Africa, where I grew up and spent most of my life. I studied Fine Art and established my own private art school which I ran for ten years. I moved to England in 2000 where I’ve been living and working ever since. My artwork reflects the graphic and decorative aspects of my character and has recently been influenced by the life around me in Brighton with its many colourful inhabitants and famous pebble beaches. I spent three years working in Vietnam as an Art teacher and this immersion into aspects of East Asian culture has also informed my artistic practice.
