this is an original painting, industrial paint on reclaimed wood. I call it "corona flowers" but I started to paint it before the pandemia started, just an image that apeared before my eyes. Somehow when I look at this painting I can't ignore the times it was made, the times we are living now, and it does seems to have a connection so it might be a reminder of this different and special times. It was painted with special industrial paint that I bought for my aluminum sculpture on a piece of reclaimed wood I found by the foundry I work in. This paint is very durable and uv protected.

Shaul Baz was born and grew up in kibutz mishmar-ha'emek in the jezreel valley in the northern part of Israel. Over the years,he studied various disciplines of art- in the years 1982-83 in 'Avni' art school, Tel-aviv, in the years 1988-90 with the artist Jan Rauchverger in his home and in the years 2000-02 with the artist Leonid Balaklav.. He lives with family in Jerusalem and works in a bronze foundry.
