This is a quiet, country road, with dappled sunlight dancing across the road. Comment from social media; Michael T------ An empty road and a line of trees - not many I suspect would have chosen this as a subject to paint; but you have made it work wonderfully! The light through the trees and tracery of shadows across the road are beautifully captured. Well done!

Richard Kimball Jolley, American oil painter, b. 1954 – He graduated from Utah State University with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Fine Art. Jolley has a strong attraction to rich, tonal color, expressed in a variety of styles, particularly, realism, tonalism, and impressionism. Subject matter includes landscape, wildlife, birds, figurative, and an occasional non-representative work. In 1999, one of Jolley’s works was shown in the international exhibition, Birds in Art. Jolley has won numerous honors and awards including the Purchase Award at the Bosque Conservatory of Fine Art in 1998. His paintings can be found in collections throughout the United States.
