Born in 1979 in the northern boarders of the Czech Republic, Michal Adelt has worked as a chef for the past 21 years, 14 of those years being in London. The profession has taught him patience, resilience and an unrivalled work ethic. Rediscovering his passion for art in 2015, Michal’s work is driven by pure emotion and raw feeling, that draws the viewer past the acrylic and into the realm of the abstract. He has often described the artist process as having the power to capture ones passion and emotion, perfectly in the moment. As an artist I feel very privileged to be able to count on several sources of inspiration. Here is for example human behaviour, feelings and nature. And my goals is to be able to share with the viewer through my paintings. When you engage with my art, it is my hope that you will be overcome with feelings of joy, freedom, and great peace…be reminded that you are surrounded by beauty and joy no matter your circumstances, you are loved by your Creator, and you are never, ever alone.
