Crystal Stucture Painting

As a primary material, i use images painted that derive from my previous work which includes everyday stimuli and my concerns about current political and cultural conditions, but mainly the feeling of a personal "lived" experience, as a condensation of moments. As an artist i treat these images as entities corresponding to a cell or a planet which i observe being reproduced and transformed into an endless flow, that corresponds to the material – energy of the universe. I deal with shapes, lines and coloured spots, on canvases of two dimentions on which i simutaneously create painterly and pseudo-aesthetic spaces. The work occurs in the conscious and unconscious limp with a controlled outcome, as i pursue the momentary surprise on the canvas, which will lead me to the completion of the artwork i present current conserns and situations, seeking consciousness and understanding of the world, in a constant search for archetypes.
