About The Artwork
Cuore comes rolled in a tube to prevent any damage to a stretched canvas during international delivery. This is also the most cost effective method for the purchaser and artist. The painting can be stretched onto a frame by your local framer. Cuore, by artist Stephanie Laine is a new abstract from her 'Fresca' series which focuses on the balance between spontaneity and consideration. Just like in life it’s important to plan some things but also leave space for passion and intuition to guide us. A perfect blend I think. Cuore is a combination of earthy colours including tan, rust, ochre and brown with accents of blue green greys. The image extends around the 3.8cm sides of the canvas so it's ready to hang. The artwork will be finished in 2 coats of satin lacquer for protection and longevity.

Stephanie grew up in the Country areas of the New South Wales Central Coast and moved to the Gold Coast in 1997 to be closer to her family. Daughter of political cartoonist Larry Pickering and one of eleven children, she enjoyed a colourful and interesting childhood. With a background in graphic design she was a partner in 'Studio Otto Illustration and Design' for 12 years before deciding to devote her time fully to painting in 2007. Solo Exhibition venues include Gold Coast 'Home of the Arts', Bundall, Doggett Street Studio, Newstead Brisbane and The Art Lovers Australia Gallery in Melbourne.
