ABOUT THE ARTWORK
This painting shows the natural landscape between Singen and Donaueschingen in Germany: a beautiful wide sky, vast fields and an endless horizon. The view of a distant horizon is underlined by power lines and glowing clouds in the sky through which bright sunlight falls. The blue sky is full of light while the earth is shaded. Electric towers spread their thin tentacle cables as if they deprive nature of energy and absorb light. Nature and artificial technology enter into a fight, but a huge, endless sky will always be superior.

I was born and raised in the Ukraine. Also I studied Fine Art in Ukraine - in Lugansk and then in Kiev. Now I live and work in Germany. My works are permanently involved in various exhibitions. My ideas of sculpture on a large scale, I realized with my husband Michael Rofka on symposiums and art projects around the world. I create nature, landscape, animals, still lifes and portraits... Every painting or sculpture are signed. Sometimes I use the name Anna Rogova or Anna Rofka.
