Viviane Fallah

About the Artist

Viviane Fallah

United Kingdom

Driven by the conceptual philosophy to simply "see what happens next," Viviane Fallah is an internationally acclaimed, multi-disciplinary contemporary artist and designer based in Oxford, UK. Merging the complex realms of the Fibonacci sequence, alchemy, optics, and biological morphology, her expansive practice unifies fine art, textiles, precision metalwork, and acoustic frequency architecture.

Fallah’s career is defined by an elite trajectory of early institutional validation. In 2012, she was awarded 2nd Prize in the Capital Projects Art & Architecture Competition for her visionary Seed Pavilion torus framework at Oxford Brookes University. The following year, she was named one of the top ten breakout contemporary talents at the prestigious Free Range Graduate Exhibition in Brick Lane, London, receiving the acclaimed Emerging Artist Award.

This institutional momentum culminated in a historic, multi-year collaboration with avant-garde fashion icon Rei Kawakubo for Comme des Garçons (CDG). Fallah’s automatic drawings and script-mandalas were headhunted to anchor the global Homme Deux Spring/Summer collections from 2014 through 2015. Notably, during the landmark ICA at DSM 1950–1968 retrospective at Dover Street Market London, Fallah’s structural masterwork "Harmonics" was exhibited directly alongside a rare, preserved archive of 20th-century historical masters, including Arshile Gorky, Richard Hamilton, Marcel Duchamp, and Man Ray.

Following this global debut, Fallah was curated into the UK’s national Noise Festival by visual authorities Denise Proctor and legendary art historian Tim Marlow, who personally credited seven of her foundational portfolio works. She went on to deepen her spatial and acoustic research at Oxford Brookes University, completing a highly specialized Master of Arts (MA) in Contemporary Arts and Music in 2015.

Recognized globally as an unshakeable creative force, Fallah has maintained a continuous international exhibition profile alongside the world’s leading graphic designers and visual theorists from 2017 to the present day. In 2021, she was officially designated an "Investable Artist" by the Global Arts Agency (GAA), with her work selected to hold the prestigious inner-back cover feature of The Contemporary Art of Excellence, Volume IV.
