"DANCE OF LIFE" Do you dance? Not? Really? With 150x100cm (59x39in), this work embraces the ideal of getting in tune with your own pace of life. Life as a whole has a pulse of its own. If we think about it, life - as well as nature - is perhaps the most perfect example of harmony that exists. Nothing more, nothing less. We may not understand many of the things that happen throughout our lives, but I believe that life itself, like a beautiful tango a la "Scent of Woman", always achieves a balance that we will never be able to fully understand, only appreciate. The blue ribbon of life guides the other elements, which behave like a score. Theoretically agents of chaos, bananas find their way, using their creativity in the service of something much bigger than themselves. Strawberries, always they, complement bananas with their energy and love, showing that there is indeed a much larger Universe than we could imagine. Spots, like the planets of an imaginary galaxy, while making us feel small, remind us of the magnitude of perfection that exists for all of this to exist, here and now - and who knows in eternity. If one day this beautiful music will stop, I don't know. But it's not something that worries me and shouldn't worry, no matter what. We do all dance, even apparently still, each one in his own universe, and we are all part of something much, much bigger than we will ever be able to comprehend. Maybe it's better that things be like this. Look to the skies at least once in your life, and unpretentiously, give thanks for all that was, that is, and that will be. Eric
