Original acrylic painting on canvas. This painting is a part of my "One Tango Moment" art collection strongly inspired by my trip to Buenos Aires, an exceptionally colourful, multicultural and diverse metropolis, where I spent much time observing the street life and capturing the moment. I strolled the mysterious alleys, cemetries, bars and night clubs in the quest to understand the meaning of Tango, the dance as well as the music. In my artworks I try to share my take on the Tango essence and shed some light on its phenomenon. I admire its sensual movement, I embrace its intimacy, but that what impresses me the most is a continuous silent conversation that goes on between a dancer and his/her partner where music becomes just a facilitator for reaching an absolute fulfilment and complete body and soul unity. This unity that relies heavily on improvisation and the reflection of dancing figures and dancers' facial expressions inspired me to capture the exeptional tango moment in my paintings.

Asia Piasny is an emerging Polish painter who has exhibited her work in USA, Italy, The Czech Republic, and Poland. Her mix of symbolism, metaphors, a vibrant color palette, and large-scale format can create an intriguing visual experience like no other. She infuses her art with a melange of people, cities, street art, pop culture, and present world events to create a thought-provoking collage that hooks the viewer and leaves them pondering for hours. Born in 1974 in Poznań, Poland, Asia Piasny decided to pursue her art career very late in life. In 1998, she graduated with a degree in Business Management and soon found work in advertising. Inspired by her traveling and living experiences in Prague, London, and Buenos Aires in her late thirties, she chose to turn her life around and become a full-time artist. By now, she has exhibited her work physically in USA, Italy, The Czech Republic, and Poland. Asia remains a frequent traveler and continues to bring back experiences that fuel her work. She is also an active individual, enjoying disciplines such as tennis, swimming, and CrossFit. Currently, Asia works from her in-house studio in Puszczykowo, located right next to the pristine woods of the Greater Polish National Park. Meanwhile, she continues her education at the Institute of Art of the Polish Academy of Sciences in Warsaw, completing her post-graduate program in the History of Modern Art.
