About The Artwork
Having been unable to paint for different reasons for quite a long time, this is my first painting after that 'fasting period'. On top it was the opportunity to experience my new studio! There was still some tristesse about having been unable to express myself with my art for long time. Same moment I was thrilled to play with colors again and enjoyed the new space. Grey and pink just reflected my feelings and jumped on me. And I danced with the flowers.

Born in Celle, Germany. Painting for me is to undertake an adventure tour travelling through the realm of colours, senses and rhythm. Spontaneity, authenticity and emotion are my key interest. I am mainly attracted in the emotional quality and the atmosphere of a painting. I want my paintings to bring a smile on the viewers face and good feelings. My painting are very colourful and they add to an atmosphere of joy and energy. They are food for the soul. I am very much influenced by the German expressionist and the “Tunisreise” of Macke and Klee.
