"Dark Moment" is a mixed media abstract with an Asian influence. There are richly blended colors of red, black, brown and bronze on a square 24" x 24" x 1.5" museum quality gallery wrapped canvas. I created this piece at a time when I had received some very bad news - thus the title, "Dark Moment" (But everything turned out ok!). I think the emotion I was feeling came out when I created this piece. The light areas have old Japanese newsprint and you can see the Japanese characters. The piece also includes Japanese washi paper and other found items. The sides are painted black, so framing is optional. The art is wired and ready to hang.
