As a basis for the picture, I use mixed media with photopotch from old pictures and rolled acrylic paints. In doing so, structures are condensed to the point where they build up lines and shapes. Before I put a point on the canvas, it already exists as an idea in my head. To connect the points, I draw straight lines. Since there are no straight lines in nature, I use an unnatural, intentionally artificial way of connecting them. I form squares from the lines because for me the square is the origin of design and the perfect aesthetic form. I relate the resulting shapes to each other using different means: color, lines, dynamic composition. By letting my pictures emerge from the interplay of emotional inspiration and rational construction, I want to show that these two apparent opposites are by no means mutually exclusive. Rather, I believe that there is a mutually complementary and mutually reinforcing relationship between them. If you like, my painting is ultimately about a concept of beauty that arises not from dissection, but from the intensive crystallization of all human mental powers. The dynamic movements arise spontaneously while working without a design. For me, nature is the textbook for design and perfect aesthetic form. But I am also fascinated by the process: All forms in nature are always becoming, becoming in passing. Listening to the movement of passing and becoming; ultimately, only the question of what is essential and the question of reality remains. Through my pictures, I want to make the passing and the core of the change in life visible. The elementary connection between my existence and transience and eternity is real. This search for reality should be reflected in my pictures.
