I actually slammed on the brakes in an Oakland, California neighborhood to take a photo of this datura. It was beautiful blooming and the shadows the bell blossoms cast just added to the scene.

I am an artist and art educator based in Sacramento, California. Alongside my painting and fiber art practice, I work extensively with seniors - teaching one-on-one and group art classes through the name "Craft-a-la-carte." My personal work is shown in alternative exhibition spaces, such as Scout Living, Jimmy's Barber Garage, Studios Eleven Gallery and The Davis Arts Center.
