About The Artwork
This is my Hommage to David Bowie and his song “China Girl”. He holds a little paper windmill in his hand, on wich is the text from the song written. For getting a maximal contrast to the background, I choose a black and white drawing for the portrait ( as in the other paintings from this series), and a full neon- color background ( which has a silver glimmer up to the light, and because of that looks different from every angle). The image of Bowie is from his original Soundtrack “ China Girl”, the little windmill I added because it emphasize the atmosphere of a sweet little secret.
