About The Artwork
This work was written under the inspiration of the liberation of the Ukrainian city of Kherson from Russian occupation. The city of Kherson is famous for its watermelons and it has become a symbol of the liberation of Kherson. David symbolizes the Ukrainian army, which was not afraid to go against Goliath. The background depicts depicts a raccoon from pixels. The raccoon is also a symbol of Kherson. During the retreat, the Russian army stole this animal from the Kherson Zoo, thus signifying its weakness and greed.

Tatar Valeriy Vasilievich, born in 1964 Ukraine, USSR. He began to paint since childhood. From 18 to 21 he served in the navy in the city of Leningrad. He worked in the art plant of the city of Donetsk and the city of Zhdanov Ukraine. He executed orders for monumental painting, mosaics, bas-relief. He wrote about 400 paintings and more than 500 drawings.Since 2014 I have been living in Austria.
