I am an artist of arts and crafts, hand weaving and silk painting. Specialization - the art of the mandala. Teacher of fine and applied arts, art therapist. Since 2021, Member of the Eurasian Creative Guild (London, UK). Since 2020, two art works are in the collection of the BiArt Gallery of the Baltic International Academy, hall “Art of Kazakhstan” - Riga, Latvia. Since 2002, founder of the oldest fine art studio in Almaty (Kazakhstan), "Blue Turtle". MANIFESTO I am a textile artist: I specialize in silk painting and hand weaving. I am interested not only in the preservation of national traditions of applied arts and crafts, but also in their actualization. My goal is to integrate tapestry, batik, felt into contemporary art discourse. For the last 10 years my artistic practice has been the art of the mandala. The traditional mandala is a centric drawing inside a circle, which is used for spiritual practices, in art and in art therapy . I practice programming mandalas. In the process of creating mandalas, I use meditation, the psychology of color, the symbolism of ornamental elements, the language of flowers, the ancient signs of the Kazakh tribes and numerology. In the sacred space of the mandala, I get access to the unconscious, and the ability to trust the creative process. Mandala is a creative meditation. A circle. Absolute. Completeness. The opportunity to be alone with yourself and with the world. Mandala is a frozen prayer, a message to the world, a manifesto.
