In 2010, he decided to achieve what he had always wanted: to be a painter and to work full time. His main desire while appealing to all his skills is to execute decorative paintings in order to magnify the interiors of his contemporaries. He carefully selects his pigments before each series to keep a unit and performs his paintings mainly to the acrylic medium. The gold leaf, decorative element par excellence, has for several years a common point in its work. It is sometimes hidden behind vaporous mists or at other times it appears glitzy taking on geometric shapes entirely structuring the picture. One year represents four pictorial phases which enable him to provide 4 series of ten or more medium or large format paintings. The themes tackled different between each series and they are the result of different inspirations and his research on pictorial art. One can find references in the art of illumination in the 14th century under the influence of Byzantine art as well as references to the decorative arts in painting as well as architecture and furniture. His work is a road that leads him to the liking of his inspirations on paths he observes while trying to reproduce the impressions that mark him. His philosophy of work is mainly focused on the desire to discover and to be able to transpose this energy on canvases in order to transmit it to others.
