ABOUT THE ARTWORK
For the past years I have been painting portraits of children with their spiritual animal carried on their shoulders, symbolising the important relationship we have with nature and our environment through colour and innocence. I also use endemic animals and iconic elements from the area. This theme has allowed me to not only be recognised interstate and internationally, but also connect with local people.
