ABOUT THE ARTWORK
I think of the work I am doing as a kind of straightforward abstraction and among other aspects I'm interested in the 'musicality' of it - rhythm, pattern, counterpoint, harmony, layers... I am also very much inspired by nature, the way we process sensorial stimuli and interpret visual information in a constantly changing environment. There are several layers in this painting that has a kind of watery feel to it; the first layer is a colour grid which shines through here and there. Stretched canvas, signed on the back.

I was born and raised in Sweden, and I've been living and painting in Spain for many years now. My painting is process driven and inspired by natural phenomena such as weather processes, the interplay between light and movement in the tree crowns and on the surface of the sea. Current obsessions include patterns, vibrations, colour... My work is abstract, and I think of it as an organic process. There is no previous plan. I do try to keep a sense of a moving whole, offering a somewhat unstable but hopefully vibrant picture to the viewer, as a point of observation and reflection.
