ABOUT THE ARTWORK
When I saw the house 'under' the trees for the first time it made such a lovely picture, I just had to paint it. I love trees and feel they protect the house by 'hiding' it a bit, adding a bit of mystery. I hope it will beckon the viewers to want to have a closer look, seeing what it is all about. I chose to paint it in oil because for me it brings a 'richness', that little something extra, to a painting. I just love the freedom in the style; putting the paint 'down' and leaving it (no fiddling).
