The painting is sown together from several pieces of canvas, creating the squares. The letters are from the spanish words deseo and vergüenza that mean desire and shame. The rust red color has a suttle structure from the paint brush. The black letters are painted with a shiny medium and reflect light. Note that the canvas has staple marks on the sides from previous exhibition. It will not be a problem stretching it again though.

I paint mostly with acrylics on canvas, using bold brush strokes and palette knife to create structures. My art is characterized by vivid colors and clear forms, with a figurative style on the edge of becoming abstract. The human figure and the portrait is a main motif, creating new forms when overlapped and painted in different colors. I play with the borders of figurative and abstract and strive for balance and contrast in color.
