About The Artwork
I have been hiking in the local California Deserts since I was four years old. The colors and textures seep into your brain. When I pick up a brush the colors and textures will always be part of my land based abstracts. This piece also has the added texture of cold wax that gives a slightly raised surface. This painting would work well in any nature based color scheme and also provide warmth to a very minimal color palette.

Growing up as a fourth generation Californian native I have been surrounded by the ocean and the desert. Those lasting visuals, textures and landscapes find their way to all my art. I had my first one woman show in high school. In college I was in shows that featured sculpture and painting. After graduating I worked in fashion, set design and gallery direction. I have curated pop up art spaces in Santa Monica and a gallery in Laguna Beach. I started two years ago to paint for myself and found an online audience. I was featured in September 13 collection.
