About The Artwork
There is that mirror of hot vibrant air, dusty, tired light and a kind of lethargic glow in each picture. Sometime there is a raw surface area or serpentine lines, pushed into the background and yet distorting the two-dimensionality of the pictures. The light is not radiant but obscurely glistening in a yellow ochre resemblance of calm, sweltering heat.
