I was born and educated in Sheffield in the United Kingdom and studied art and design at Sheffield Hallam university, graduating in 1988, and becoming an honorary member of Sheffield Institute of Arts (SIAs) in 2010. My first solo exhibition was held at the Crucible Theatre in 1981 and since then my work has been shown in many group and solo exhibitions in the city. The passion for drawing and painting began when l was a child and has been constant though out the years, eventually finding its way into digital production and its endless possibilities for creating art.
