Diamond Butterfly Painting

This painting it is actually my self-portrait and it is named 'Diamond Butterfly'. The butterfly symbol was always inspiration for me and that is why I use it as my art signature. I have also realized that it was my first butterfly canvas during my whole career of painting. This 2 piece canvas it is a tribute for me to becoming a mother of my son Leonardo.The best way to express its beauty is by hanging 2 pieces together. You can find the second piece of the butterfly in my different auction. The painting is made with great quality chalk paint in black and white, with a lots of decoration like diamond dust, gold and silver leaf foil. Because purple is my favourite color I used a high glitter leaf paint to make some beautiful details. To make this piece of art unearthly finish I sprinkle it with diamond dust powder on the background. The total look is magical. I believe that you feel that kind of magic too.
