Diamond geezer Painting

I am an artist from London, who works dominantly in oil paints and I paint oversized diamonds onto canvas to give the viewer an in-depth look into the precious stones and get lost in there many facets. I‘m based in Essex and have currently been painting diamonds in oil for the past year and a half. I was inspired after making several trips to Hatton gardens jewellery quarter, which then lead me to draw and eventually paint these diamonds I would see. The more I learnt from the established jewellers who were helping me along my art journey the more I became fascinated with the diamonds. Each stone is as unique as a fingerprint. And I wanted to express this onto canvas. Collaborating with jewellers worldwide i use these diamonds as references for my work to create bold abstract statements. I have sold artwork worldwide from London, to the middle east and i have attended exhibitions in las vegas JCK and London IJL where I also painted live in front of an audience.
