The artist Nadia Porro was born in St. Petersburg, Russia. She studied at the Faculty of Fine Arts of Boston University when she lived some years in that city. Her art is on the threshold of modernity and traditional techniques. Porros's abstract paintings reflect her inspiration from modern artists such as Malevich, Kandinskiy and Hiroshi Matsumoto, but at the same time, her technique is influenced by the master classes she has taken from different artists. Porro is a cultivated artist with a passion for travel. An admirer of fine art, she likes to visit the Hermitage Museum for inspiration. She also often visits opera, classical music and ballet theaters. Her knowledge and interests are resources for her particular style that juxtaposes abstraction and the depth of her message.
